We open doors for Elbert County residents through the coordination and delivery of services to empower individuals through self-sufficiency which strengthens families and connects communities.

We are starting a campaign for Aiden Kerbs and his family. Aiden has thyroid disease which was diagnosed at 18 months. Starting at age 3, Aiden began breaking bones. As he has aged the breaks have become more frequent, and now he has had 21 fractures. He also has swollen hands and fingers. We are desperate to find answers, yet the doctors have none. He is currently undergoing genetic testing. All of the medical bills have taken a toll on the family. His mom is a school teacher in Elbert. Check out his GoFund Me Page (CLICK HERE). And stop by ECCO and see how else you can help.
ECCO holds several community outreach events throughout the year as well as highlighting the community activites of it's member organizations in support of their community outreach programs. ECCO also serves as a contact point for local resources and services available to provide direction to individuals in the community seeking help. ECCO also sponsors educational workshops, providing life-tools to the community.
ECCO's Community Resource Center also houses a Thrift Store which serves as a revenue source to help fund the Resource Center's outreach activities to the community. The Thrift Store is committed to the concept of, Recycle, Repurpose, and Redesign, which is to say Stuff Comes in and Treasures Go Out. We always appreciate donations of previously loved and still functioning goods. Please contact the Community Resource Center at (303) 621-2599 for information, and feel free to drop by and browse for something you can't live without!
